God’s Voice

Many people talk about the Bible. The books about the Bible are published every day and are flourished in the bookstore. Ironically, those books keep us away from the Bible. We feel like a child standing on a sandy beach watching the ocean without ending.

However, God spoke through the missionary Samuel, "Return to the Bible!" It means to return to the spirit and gist of the Bible. It means to return to the word of God, the author of the Bible, and to live according to its message, spirit and gist.

This simple truth - return to the Bible itself - is the key to all problems of life to us. It helps us to discern what is wrong and what is right. In this world full of corruption and temptation, it leads us in the right way to the kingdom of God. It is because the Bible holds the answer to all the problems.

The most important way to get into the Bible is to read and study it deeply. The purpose of reading the books about the Bible is read to the Bible itself. We need the books to read the Bible properly and effectively.

In that sense God has clearly revealed the purpose of our church to read the Bible and live according to his spirit through our name: University Bible Fellowship missionary church. When we faced the big challenge on the identity of our church God spoke again through his servant Samuel Lee so that he laid firm foundation on our identity and convicted us to keep this identity.

Back to the Bible! This motto is short, but is alive. It helps me to examine my thought and life. It leads me to repent. It helps me to love and fear the words of the Bible. It is the God’s voice to urge us to pray that we may be a man of the Bible, our church may value the Bible most, and our church may be his good instrument. Please, help us to return to the Bible every day.
